Hoof Helper Clay

A natural, mineral-rich clay designed to pack into hoof cavities, cracks and grooves where dirt, moisture and bacteria can hide and help draw out impurities.

Perfect for supporting hooves affected by thrush, seedy toe, white line separation and abscess cavities while helping to keep unwanted nasties out.  Ideal for:

• Hoof Abscesses

• White Line disease

• Pre-packing under shoes and pads

If using in very wet conditions or when packing shallow abscesses or white line separation use a hoof boot or pad to help keep the clay in place.

The clays we use in this are completely natural (we don't use Polymer clay which is made from plastics) so due to this it will dry out with air so make sure you put the lids back on the container properly and will also dissolve in wet conditions.

Hoof Helper Clay is a supportive hoof-care product and is not a substitute for veterinary or farrier care. Always consult your veterinarian or farrier for serious, persistent or recurring hoof problems.

For thrush or deeper bacterial issues, Hoof Helper Clay can be combined with Copper Sulphate (available on our website) by kneading the Copper Sulphate into the clay before packing it into the cleaned area.
